Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello is an American actress from the United States. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly ((2000), The Cooler (3), A History of Violence (2004), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2009), Grown Ups (2010) and Prisoners (2013) were some of her film roles. On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998), with various other roles as a star, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the show Goliath in 2016 and from 2017 until 2021 as Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the show NCIS. Bello was born in Norristown to Kathy Bello and Joe Bello. She studied political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting through participation in numerous New York theatre productions. Bello as well as Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. She published a blog in November of 2013 about her same-sex relationship, Clare Munn, and how it ended. She published a book, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Examining the labels we give to Ourself, (Dey Street Books) on April 28, 2015.
