Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born on March 4, 1954 she is a Canadian-American actress. O'Hara is the proud winner of several prizes which include a Genie Award. In 2018, she was made an Officer of Canada and in 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara first became known as an actress while she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd as co-stars, she was in the main team of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy began working on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara joined the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022. She was joined by Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert and Tina Fey.
